So your thinking it's more inline with what it should be now then?

So should I be satisfied with this and try working out my rich condition with scalar and tables?

yes, and you've been chasing around a lot for something that was just a bunk gauge, i feel bad for ya

do you happen to have the injector constant setting from a '93 bin? that's where you should start anyway.

Yes this is true but I also look at it as I now know the systems condition. Making sure the base is correct makes me feel better when I start tuning.

I had pulled a stock 93 bin $DA3 but when I opened it found it was for an auto. Wasn't to sure if I should use it because of the different trans. I have asked for a M6 bin but no luck so far. Do you know if there is a difference, I had seriously considered copying the relevant table sections over into the 95 areas. Saving that and then using that as my base to start with. The 93 auto has a finer resolution hence my one question about expanding the 95 tables. The answers Eagle and Robert gave were yes but I would have to right code for it and I am no where near that level. So if I can find a 93 M6 bin my thought is to copy the areas in the tables that are the same and go from there. It may be more work than I need but my thinking is that it should give me a real good base to go from. I am thinking like a stock 93 parameter system in the 95 ECM that I can then reliably build on.

maybe i should clarify - just copy the '93 injector constant, thats the only part of your engine that is '93 specific at this point that would affect fueling calcs

Got it I'll pull those figures across flash it and do a run before I pull everything apart for the wideband.

OK an update and I'll open another thread as well to help others going down this road again.

The big discovery came today when I got to thinking what you guys were saying about the system goin SD when the MAF is unplugged. As you might recal this thing has been fat all across the board consistently know matter what cell it's in. It will start out at 128 and go south within a couple seconds in that cell. So I unplugged the MAF and fired it up and watched it transition from open to closed. But this time it didn't crash it went to 138 on both banks with the INT's at 128.

Now (and this is where I'll start the other thread) your collective thoughts please. MAF needs a recal or you think it's toast It's the original unit that came with the PCM I got as a package. Near as I can tell it's stock, it still has the factory screen on it and no signs of tampering with the bore and probably has about 80,000 miles on it?
