(FIXED) 1227747 How to keep EGR valve *off* when engine is cold? ASDU

I re-enabled the EGR for smog testing, and it is coming on before the temp threshold set in the .bin!

After a cold start I get a hesitation until engine warms up. If I unplug the EGR it doesn't exhibit the issue.
Temp. threshold in .bin is set @ 190*F (87.77*C) it's annoying that it does this...

Is there anything else I can do/change in the .bin to eliminate the issue?

In the newest $42 there is a Patch that turns off the EGR the old way of doing three things at once. I'd guess this procedure came up because the Enable by temperature never worked? Until I brought the subject up while some of the disassembly experts were helping me learn, so I picked the EGR and other temps and found something very interesting, took a ten page thread and some smart minds (my self excluded) to figure out.
    http://www.gearhead-efi.com/Fuel-Inj...TS-conversions

The tempreture reading is not done normally and is reversed from the AD 1k pickup, then it's not linear, so that took more smart guys to come up with a conversion that is accurate within 1*. I never fully tested bu initial testing was spot on. So if you want EGR, but just want a different temp try the XDF I'll post here. You'll notice the slider in TunerPro RT is also backwards! But temps indicated are accurate!

    Quick compare....seems the slider set @ 87.7 w/ older .xdf actually = -19c

So that would explain why it came on when cold lol.
I'll reflash my chip and give it a try w/ newer .xdf

Fixed! Thank you sir, now doesn't come on until the temp set in the .bin, and no more hesitation when engine is first started/cold.

Just FYI w/ that new .xdf my zero'd out VE2 table went from all zeros to all fives.
I changed it back w/ an older .xdf and stayed all zeros.
Not a big deal but you might want to take a look?

Not sure why you would zero out VE1? But I tried and saved and opened it back up and was all 0s.

Stoopid phone fat fingered...VE2 *NOT* VE1

And I tried it several times w/ above .xdf
It changes all the zero's to 5.08 in the table.

If I revert back to .xdf v5.1 the table stays zero'd out.

Open a .bin w/ .xdf v5.9.6 zero out VE2, save .bin open table, all cells are 5.08
Open a .bin w/ .xdf v.5.1 zero out VE2, save .bin open table, all cells still zero.

That's strange? The alarm was set to 5.00 and would not let it adjust below that. Works now.
