    pcm wiring question

    i have a 16196395 and am using a od bin from a 16197427 and i want to make sure i wire the pcm like a 16196395 and not a 16197427.

    The Mitchell's Manual wiring schematics I have do not show any wiring differences between the 16196395 and 16197427 for either 1994 or 1995. The Mitchell's Manuals show different wiring schematics for 4L60E and 4L80E transmissions only.

    on the schematics off this site i found some differences on the E and F connector on 6395 f2 f3 has trans input speed high and low and the 7427 doesnt and 6395 has 4wd on f4 where 7427 has it on f8

    The 4L80E uses a Transmission Input Speed Sensor which is wired to F2 Transmission Input Speed Hi and F3 Transmission Input Speed Low. See attached pictures below.

    The 4L60E does not use a Transmission Input Speed Sensor.

    The 4L80E is either definition $OE or $31.

    The 4L60E is either definition $E6 or $OD.

    ok thanks for the help i wanted to make sure i would not burn out my pcm
