New write-up on some EE stuff

i did some tuning writeups tonight,

this might be handy if you're really into tuning your LT1, covers some recently found parameters and ecm functions, and overviews their impact, and how to (maybe) take advantage of them.

    it's a long read, though

Copy and post it here and I'll give it a Sticky in the Write up Section!

EDIT: Just read and skimmed through it. Very nice writeup and tuning info!

i would, but... and this is for the same reason i'd prefer nobody posts my xdf here directly -- that means the version on this forum wuld always be out of date.

it's not a writeup as such, it's a moving target like a tune, i'll never stop tweaking things... because as soon as i do, i'll become disinterested, and the project dies.

you know what i mean? i'd hate for someone to hit a link here and get something that's a few versions behind, in case i'm fixing a serious blunder i've made in documentation or whatever, which happens all the time when you're trying to be bleeding edge.

I'll be giving that a good read over the next couple days can't get to it here at work. I have a feeling it has a lot in common with what you have been trying to show me.

    You should have HTML now.

When you do this, start a new thread in Write-Up forum.

You had the standard editor turned off so I turned it on and checked permissions and should work. Will only show the <> icon in Go Advanced.

Try it and I'm going to do some testing, usually HTML is not allowed for security reasons but I turn it on for Custom Registered User Group which you are now in...

    yeah that didn't work..

i guess i'll just bbcode format it

i wanted to avoid that, because if i make a change i cant just copy/paste the whole doc as an edit
