    Noob...first EFI LIVE attempt questions on standalone harness pcm changes

    So, my swap is slowly getting closer on the Jeep.

    What I have for frankenJeep;
    2003 5.3 LS from Silverado It's DBW and I have a TAC and pedal from an '03 as well.
    2003 pcm (5.3/4L60E stock tune)
    2005 Harness from a 6.0/4L80E Silverado
    4L80E & NV242HD transfer case (from H1 Hummer)

    I have thinned the harness, and removed the AC/EVAP/REAR O2's/low oil sender/oil pressure connectors.

    Found 2 same os(12579405) files on tunefiledepot one is 6.0/4L80E and other is 5.3/4L60E
    I could not locate another 4L80E file that was the same os as the pcm I have(12593058).
    Assuming I'll be able to flash a newer os on the pcm?????

    I did 2 segment swaps on the 5.3 file from the 6.0 4L80E file.
    Then disabled VATS, changed all the MIL/DTC codes for the rear O2 sensors/EVAP/ to not reported.

    What is the correct way disabled A/C control in the pcm?
    Anything else that needs to be changed for a standalone harness config?

    Talk about information overload....compared to ODB1 stuff that is.
    Thanks in advance. Probably have other questions as I venture deeper down the rabbit hole.

    I'm willing to take a look at the file your working on.

    I would set the RPM that enables A/C to minimum.

    Original file 5.3/4L60E and my current file w/ 4L80E segment swap and some things disabled.

    The segment swap(s) came from a 6.0 LQ4 w/ same os, copied trans. and trans. diagnostic segments to my file.

    EDIT: Also noticed that the 4L60E file has brake torque management, while the 4L80E file does not...

    I've noticed the .tun files are 1 Meg, which should be for a PCM with Green / Red connectors? I'm sure you have the correct PCM, just checking.

    There could be a couple hours of homework to make sure the .tun file is ready. I use the comparison feature to double check the changes that were made, see attached screen shot.

    The transmission segment swap looks good, including the brake torque management. See attached screen shot.

    Now I'm confused...I thought anything 2003-2007 was blue/green connectors?

    PCM is a 2003 Serv.# 12576106 blue/green connectors and EFILive states 1MB
    Both the files I used from tunedepot are 2003, so shouldn't they also be blue/green 1MB?

    Next question....fuel system

    The engine came w/ an '05 intake and returnless fuel rail. I didn't want to use the 'spensive corvette filter/regulator.
    So, I just swapped on a return style fuel rail.

    Is there any changes that need to be made to the tune for this?
    I don't know enough or how to tell if an '03 (or the os I'm using) was return style or returnless style.

    Form what I can tell in the Vehicle Platform Options, the '03 OS does not show any options for fuel delivery.

    Looks like '04 is when they switched? All the '04 and later files I checked are different for injector flow.
    So looks like I'm ok using the '03 stuff, and don't need to change anything?
