    I read all that was said earlier and it seemed these FI small distributors do the job...if not please point me to what and how we can make this work.

    Maybe there is some confusion on TPI vs. LT1 intakes?? See Pics below. LT1 intakes do not have a distributor hole. TPI intakes have a distributor hole. The LT1 distributor is mounted in the front of the engine, near the water pump.
