LT1 EEX .xdf Manual vs. Auto Flag ?

I think the comment in the LT1 EEX .xdf might be reversed? See attached screen shots. In my thinking Manual = 1 should be "Checked" for a Manual Transmission binary? It looks opposite to me.

The binary files are from this thread: http://www.gearhead-efi.com/Fuel-Inj...94-95-LT1-bins

ahh i was meaning to play with that one a bit more, it was behaving strangely. i have a suspicion i screwed that bit up entirely.

until it's tested, you should probably start with a manual or automatic bin; and just not touch that flag.

thanks for reminding me, i'll get 'er done

OK, that is odd. Check out these attachments. The first 2 are M6 and auto bins where Tunercat and Tunerpro match and the third is an auto bin with tunerpro saying it's not...

i can't get reliable behavior from this flag in tunercat either; i turned an auto bin into a manual bin with that flag and was still getting trans codes. i'm going to remove it from my XDF for the time being (it's pretty useless anyway, just start with the right bin)

then i'll do more research when im not so lazy

A thanks to steveo for his work on the xdf file. It a nice improvement to catogorize the data. Much improved over basic xdf.

I doubt it, but I REALLY want to understand that trans bit soon.

i might just be blowing noobsmoke, but assuming they didn't just conditionally branch off an entire event loop to do all this at vs mt shit, there may be parts that can be selectively patched to be enabled regardless of the trans setting. I still want p/n switch control on my manual for idle control.

the shift light is y-body bin only though, I have confirmed no output in f-body bins, I bet I can find the enable switch easily though. I don't even think the shift light rpm constant(s) are known. ill look for them too

also thanks for the thanks, so glad other people use that xdf!

Reloaded the EE xdf. and man thanks for all the work this thing is cool. I see now some of the things you mentioned and the transient table as well. Been doing some more reading and getting stoked at what i can check for with VE tables and all. going to get the wideband in soon and looking forward to seeing where everything is. Thanks again for all the hard work you put into that and the help you have given me.
