    Newbie from Massachusetts

Hello everyone! Just joined. I'm a square body GM truck fan. I bought an 87 K10 brand new back in the day and ran it for close to 20 years. I had a 95 K2500 for a while. I now have a 91 GMC Jimmy in very nice condition with less than 50K original miles on it. I am currently building another truck for winter driving/hunting trips. It's an 80's 1-ton frame that I am cutting down to shortbed length. I have a Texas Cab and bed in great shape, new doors and a nose from an 86 GMC in good shape. I have what I believe to be a crate 5.7 with an 87 TBI unit on it. The engine ran when I pulled it but it had been Mickey Moused a bit. I'll be running an SM465/NP205 combo, Dana 44 front with cross over steering, 14 bolt FF in the rear. I have a 6" TC lift (all spring) ready for it as well and I plan to run 37 OZ tires.
Pics of my past and present trucks:
    87: 5.7 TBI, automatic, 4" Skyjacker lift, 33 x 12.5 x 15's

95 K2500; all stock. Believe it or not, this photo made it in a Chevy Truck magazine many years ago....

After this truck, I had a 2002 Duramax (I didn't mention it previously 'cause it's kind of out of scope for this forum. My nephew still has it)

This is my current (nice weather; ie: not winter/salty road) DD; my 91 Jimmy:

    I really love that truck!^^^^

I have some pictures of my project truck as well, but it isn't much to look at right now!

    That's a sweet looking Blazer!

The 87 pickup was a rare one as the only year square body to have EFI. I had bought a short bed 2wd used in 88 and was the best chevy truck I had to date. 10 years of nothing but sweet driving and about 200K when I let it go. Still looked and ran great.
