    95 LT1 BIN

Being new programming looking for BIN help, I am installing a 1995 Z28 LT1 engine (16188051 pcm) and auto tranny in my son's 37 Chevy sedan. I mention that because we will be using headers, no CAT, no EGR, no VATS , stripped down engine with MAP etc

Just opened the Stock 95 Z28 bin (below) from this forum. Looking for a starting point to get the car up and running, obviously VATS and EGR are on the list to be disabled....what other items can I disable. I'll work on the tune once the car is up and running.

Also, of the ADX and XDF files listed at the following post..which ones should I be using::

    Thanks

If you have no MAF sensor then you'll have to put it into speed density mode.

Go to post 10 very first link and grab the xdf by steveo. I believe the V3.6 adx is the one you'd want.

"CAT Protect - Min Coolant Temp" Off.

"DFCO Enable - Min Coolant Temp" Off but not a big issue.

"* AIR Enable - Min Coolant Temp" Off.

But I also see now a "* AIR Pump Enable" so maybe that off as well.

"CCP Enable - Min Coolant Temp" Off.

    "* Traction Control Enable" Off.

"* Lock BLM to 128 at WOT" Run the patch! Nice work steveo!

    "* VATS Enable" Off.

"* EGR Diagnostic (Error 32)" Off.

"* EGR Diagnostic (Error 27)" Off

"* CCP Electrical Failure (Error 26)" Off

"A/C Low Charge Diagnostic (Error 61 through 71)" Off.

"* Air Pump Diagnostic (Error 29)" Off.

    "Speed Density Enable" On.

"Fan 1 Diagnostic (Error 77)" Off depending on fan setups?

"Fan 1 Diagnostic (Error 78)" Off depending on fan setups?

    "VATS Diagnostic (Error 46)" Off.

"MAF System Diagnostic (Error 48)" Off.

That should get you running on stock bin ready for any tuning needed.

Looking the material over header selection is a significant issue, short tube headers appear to be the easiest to work with because the O2 sensors are further up stream. I have a couple of (new) sets of 88-95 stainless truck headers (oem replacement style)..BUT the LT1 has "D"port heads...not sure how they will seal up.
