    inj fault 2 yes, no closed loop or fuel control, new injectors, misssing

    1993 Camaro 350 LT1

    Scan Data is showing inj fault 2 yes, quad driver code 26.

    Having problems going into closed loop and cannot make tuning adjustments since ECM is sensing a fault and is in limp in mode due to this issue.

    Project has new injectors and confirmed all injectors are operational and pulsing when engine is running.

    Disconnected purge control and problem gets worse.

    EGR system has been removed completely as well as AIR pump system.

    Disabled quad driver fault in tuning but no change.

    Was thinking since EGR and AIR system has been removed maybe part of the problem and need to make other switch adjustments in the tune other than what I already have attempted.

    I am aware of the problem injector coils these systems used but that has been eliminated with replacement injectors.

    Anyone experienced this problem before ?

    Nope.

    But if the Air pump has been removed turn off error code is all that needs to be done

    For EGR removed turn off error code. But all that does is turn off error codes, still need to disable the EGR from coming on.

    Then clear codes and see what happens. Not sure how to diagnose the Code 26 ?

    i have seen quad driver faults be a bad ecm. unhook anything resembling a solenoid/relay except the injectors and see if the code goes away?
