I would re-pin the LT1 OBD2 computer connectors to an LT1 OBD1 computer. Good information here: http://www.gearhead-efi.com/Fuel-Inj...rmation-EE-EEB

The vast majority of the pins are the same between the LT1 OBD2 vs. LT1 OBD1. The LT1 OBD2 has two additional O2 sensors, and a crank position sensor not used in the LT1 OBD1 system.

The swap to OBDI will plug right in. The only extra wires to PCM, which I did not remove are the Crank Position Sensor and rear O2 sensors.

You also need to change Knock Sensor or sensors to the earlier OBDI as they are different resistance. I've read but never done... that you can add a resistor to the wire?

yeah, it's just a matter of pluggin the new ecm in and running an earlier knock sensor. i've done this a lot, my current daily driver included.

be sure to run a '95 bin instead of a '94 if you're using the original 4l60e trans.

the resistor does work just fine, i did use it once, but i don't trust it, i'd swap the knock sensor out.

eaglemark missed one extra set of wires you can yank out - the flow sensor for the EVAP system (OBD-I doesnt use that shit either)

No need to change anything
Just plug the OBD-I computer and turn off the knock sensor code. I have done a few and they work good, the knock sensor works normal.
If you want, you can do the resistor mod to the PCM instead, both ways work good. No need to change knock sensors

O. And I wanna tune it with tuner pro. I made a uber easy cable to work with obd1 but it's got a obd2 port how do I wire it
