    Hello everyone

Disabled army vet here, new to all this that is tuning.

Plan is to build a torquey and good gas mileage engine. Will be going on the road this summer with travel trailer and my hope is for a good reliable vehicle.

I ask that you please take it easy on me as i am a noob

    Nv3500 (shafts have ben crynoed)

Vehicle will be used for hauling a travel trailer. Plan is to see this beautiful country for next few years. I am looking for torque and mpg.

    What vehicle is it in?

    What intake and adapter?

    What cam shaft specs?

Your going to need at least 14 PSI fuel pressure. Stock usually comes up to 12 PSI if your lucky...

Back to your origanal question. I would not make the change from the 7747 to 9427. Yes the 9427 is faster PCM and has better data logs, the only time I would do the swap is if motor was overbuilt, use of an E trans or building a harness and system from scratch.

I've tuned engines built similar to yours that run as well as factory stock.

That is for the LT1 engine and don't think it would run a TBI engine, if it could it would not be worth the work.

Question new build by noob in texas

    Questions I have:
    1. Can I use a 16188051pcm? If so what do I need for tuning?
    2. I was thinking performer rpm intake. Is there a better one? And why?
    3. Was thinking lt1 cam. Better choice? I am looking for low rev torque.

I have been searching so please don't flame.

Ok so stick with original ecm. Do you have the tunes saved from other vehicles? What equipment would you recommend?

Reason I was thinking 16188051, eas for the reflash capabilities.

On the otherhand I swap EVERYTHING to the 7427'. I cannot stand the 160 baud rate ECMs.

Fast. You do some excellent work. Was thinking the 7427 is faster but i wanted to know if the 8051 could be used, i like that its flashable.

Maybe you all can answer question about intake and cam
