    looking for 65# injector offsets

does anyone know which BCC the TBI cop car injectors were used in? I found a bin for $62 (AYDP) that has the BPW constant set for 120 which I believe to be the correct injectors, but the only xdf I could find doesn't have the offset or multiplier defined.

BTW I only have a few hours a night to work on this so i may not reply right away.

BPW of 120 is a give away they are the Cop Car injectors. Have you looked at the $62 dissasembly to see if it's there? I could add the parameters in.

AYDP was superceeded to BPSJ which has the B4U RPO code which is the more civilian/detective car instead of the 9C1. Also had the calibrated speedo so yup, that's one.

to be honest with you I probably wouldn't know what I was looking at in the disassembly. that's a little above my head, I've read a couple write-ups on deciphering them but...

Me too until I had hundreds of hours into the reading while looking at the very well produced dissasemblies. It's definitely an acquired skill and I'm not there.

But I would have tried for you and seems we do not have a $62 disassembly? It's not a very desirable car to tune and only covered 92-93 Caprice and Roadmaster.

The Injector vs batt offset is in $61 so finding a BCC for the Cop Car in 91 era would work.

That said, I've run them and not made the change and had no issues tuning like when you try with MPFI. TBI is a little more forgiving and offsets I've seen are all pretty close, unlike MPFI.

It seems to appear you are correct. I couldn't find much for that mask while searching around the web. The only 5.7 BCC listed for $61 is ANLU on this site and that looked like it was for the 61# injectors. I was told that the injectors came out of a 91 chevy truck. searching the web last night seemed to confirm they could be found on the 3/4 ton with the 5.7. I looked at half of the $42 bins last night since BCC find didn't seem to want to work, and kept coming up with bins with the 61# injectors. I kept getting "/bccweb.cgi?BCC=ANLU[an error occurred while processing this directive]". I guess the search is on...

this looks promising I'll have to look at this xdf when I get home tonight. http://www.gearhead-efi.com/Fuel-Inj...ght=%2462+hack

BCC find has been crashed for awhile and neither I or Shannen has had time to fix it. But he did mention he was starting to work on it last week... his time is scarce so no promises.

That thread had the mask/XDF, but no dissasembly for $62, so finding a BCC for 91 9C1 in $61 is probably still best option.

But if the injectors are 61 lb? Why are you still looking for the 65 lb Cop Car injector info? I'm confused...
