Interesting ... I'm thinking the 1995 TPI is actually a LT1? I'm not sure what to about 1996 ~ 2002 L31 Vortec heads with a maybe LT1 intake? I'm confused as heck to what parts you are really working on. Do you have some pictures??

    Ok, that makes sense.

I'm strictly a GM FACTORY ECM / PCM Tuner. I'm 100% clueless about the Fast XFI 2.0 system.

    Nice...Very Nice!

So it looks like a TPI system (Upper Plenum and Side Runners) from 1986 ~ 1992 mated to a L31 Vortec intake manifold. I got confused with the reference to a 1995 TPI, which had me thinking LT1 Intake. See pic below.

thanks for the kind words, i just through something up on my first post (wasnt accurate), just so yous guys wouldnt think i was a spammer. Actually, it is off of a 1985 corvette( one year only), but i changed the fuel rails from a camaro, so i could get the fuel inlet on the drivers side

dont know what a L31 is
    sorry for the confusion

The Vortec 5.7 liter engine used in GM Pickups, Suburban's, Tahoe's, and Express Vans from 1996 ~ 2002 is also known as the L31.

Don't think twice about the confusion. We like to help, but knowing the parts involved is essential.

comp. cam, but ill have to look up the specs. i told them i cant have more than a 1/2" of lift for the vortec heads. im trying to build torque, not HP, installed2 1/2" corvette cast iron exhaust manifolds. Gotta move a 5,000 pound brick down the highway

thats also the reason i didnt fool around with runners

thanks for the nice welcome guys

maybe a Mod. can change my thread title........to avoid any future confusion, lol
