If you watch pressure with the pump you have you would probably... maybe see the correct fuel pressure at idle. Then under load it drops like a rock. There is no need in a carb pump to supply the volume needed in EFI with the return line. Carb just needs to keep the bowl filled...

There's probably 100's of bin files with EGR turned off, not so many knock turned off. But they are all custom tuned for each engine and would be wrong for yours. You'll have no issues burning a new bin file to chip when you get the burn 2. Read this and play with the software, you could have it all done before the burn 2 get's here.

I think the knock sensor taken off the chip is my only option because i have no other exhaust choices.

I have block hugers too. I used a 45* plumbing fitting from lowes with some pipe dope. fits in the side of the head between #1 and 3 exhaust ports.

Do you by chance have any more room on the opposite side of the engine? Little extra wire is well worth the benefit of a knock sensor. Just my two cents.
If it don't fit force it, if it don't force fit f&%@ it!

Nope no room both flanges are like a quarter inch from block so just delete off the ecm. If the engine starts knocking its going to be rebuild time aswell.

Anybody know a good inline fuel pump for tbi?

I can find u one tomorrow, or if u have an oreillys close with a competent counterperso , there is a pump similar to the tbi intank units with a plastic nipple on the outlet end and a brass screw in on the intake side.

Jus remeber be conservaitve with the timing. 32-36* total is the norm on a sbc. Should have most of ur timing in by about 3500. Run 91-93 octane for best results. Watch the pe spark as too much can induce knock.

Im tired so if i ramble forgive me.

Hey guys got the ecm all set with the knock, and egr deleted. Can anybody tell me the wire i have to disconnect to set timing? I just did the old lift the cap turn to top dead center and drop #1 spark plug wire right on top. I know it could use a little bit more tune timing wise.
