Thanks for the info. I double checked and all wiring is correct. The only wires I don't have hooked up are the speed sensor. I was thinking I have a ground issue or the temp sensor is bad. When I run the whipple prom truck is hard to start, dumping a lot of fuel and timing is off. Ive had this set up in two different trucks with no issues.

Check codes? If there is an Error 51 Prom it could be Limp Home Mode. What other codes?

Those Whipple chips do work, but it's a cheat. If you had an MSD external box to reduce spark under boost it would run better.

That seems to be a problem as well. I cant get any info from the computer. I have a craftsman scan tool, but it doesn't respond to the computer. I also tried getting the codes through the malfunction indicator light but nothing from that either.

I've had the opportunity to work with a TBI supercharged 454. Here is a link to the thread I had going back then: http://www.gearhead-efi.com/Fuel-Inj...rged-454-4L80E

    Interesting reading?

You can't get the CEL to blink with the paper clip trick? Then there's something really wrong...

I've got the CEL to work now. Had it grounded instead of powered I have codes of 59,81 and 82. I'm working on getting the moates cable and tuner pro installed to my laptop now. Have been successful in logging any data yet.

Those are all transmission codes. That PCM came with a 4L80E transmission. Not sure if it can be run without one including the VSS signal from the trans? Also not sure if turning off all trans error codes will help, just never seen it done.

Manual or turbo 400 would have been another ECM...

Since you don't need to have E trans controls I would use a ECM capable of controlling boost to begin with!

Thanks for the help Eaglemark. What ECM would you recommend for this set up? I'm not doing any long haul towing with this truck, strictly play toy built to go as fast as possibly(street legal). You mentioned an external ignition box, sounds good. Do you have any part numbers I can reference? Also you mentioned the VSS. I have an external output speed sensor I have from a set of siberdyne digital gauges. I tried installing, but with my limited knowledge, was unsuccessful. Im pretty sure I didn't have something connected correctly. Is the sensor powered or strictly straight in and out through the ECM? Do I need the buffer? Thanks
