    Speedometer Calibration for 1995 Z28

Swapping gears from a 3.42 to 4.10 in my 95 Z28. I have already purchased the cable and that came with a free copy of tunerpro. I am completely new to this stuff and to be honest reading some of these posts give me a headache . I have no clue what BLMs or BINs are. So if anyone could tell me how to calibrate my speedo and can explain it to me like im a 7 year old that would be awesome!!

Well keep reading and you'll catch up. Maybe this will help?

Once you've hooked up cable to tunerPro:

Then can read the bin file from your PCM, you can use this spreadsheet to calculate the speedo changes needed:

There's a lot of words or terms you need to learn but I assure you they are English. Maybe if you take them one by one and learn the words it will come together?

Some people just don't have the time or desire to learn though...

If all you want done is Speedo calibration maybe you should have your PCM flashed by a tuner. They could do all the other adjustments while they are at it. It would be a bigger improvement then what is available from a hand held Hypertech type tune.

    Good Luck!
