    VSS for cable speedometers

So I am researching a TBI conversion for a Pontiac 350 with a BOP th350 and later a 700r4 (these share the same size speedo drive housing unlike chevy bullet size)

what is typically used wishing to use a vss and a speedo cable?

I have seen this but it seems pricey (especially for those of us who are junkyard scroungers)

    Look at #6

    but is this:

or this the same thing? :

If so these are half the price new and junkyard source able for cheap

Does anyone know if they are compatible with the 1227747 ECM truck systems?

Can you post the part numbers and/or applucation so that those us us outside of the U.S. Can look it up? We get directed to the application selection page when clicking on those links.
