    vortec 350 with ramjet cam

OK I think I have a tune issue but the guy at pcm for less doesn't think that's the issue I started off with a stock 98 vortex motor blew it up so built a .03 over 350 eagle crank rods speed pro .125 popup pistons ram jet cam reused the heads 1.6 roller rockers had pcm for less tune the computer the motor ran hot so I put be cool radiator changed heads to dart 74 CC to drop the compression back to 10.1 changed to tpi injection.so I would have injectors instead of popits still same isue could this issue be in the tune the plug look right don't look like its running to lean I'm lost not sure what to do any ideas

No and I don't no anyone that can do it for me he told me he had 27 degree timing at idle and I think he said it was in the 40s at wot this is my first go around with efi but that's way to much timing for a Carb motor with that cam

Is there any way that the water pump is turning the wrong direction? (Wrong pump/pulley/belt routing)

No all that's right new pump new radiator all that I didn't have this over heat issue till the cam and tune change its cold natured cuts out till motor warms up has tons of power great throttle responce just runs to hot when u put it under a heavy load its in an s10 off road truck so its usaly on trails around 2500 rpm mabie 15 miles an hour at that speed and rpm takes about ten minutes its at 220 230 u can bring the rpm up to 4500 or so while driving 25 or 30 MPH it will hold the 200 or 210 Max that's why I think its in the tune but like I said this is my first efu build so I really don't no what to do

I know you said it happened after the cam and tune but, maybe that is just a coincidence. Is it possible that since the engine now makes (should make) more power that the radiator can't support it. OR--Can you shoot the radiator with an infra-red thermometer? I have seen radiators that were partially plugged and would cause overheating. Look for areas that are substantially cooler than the rest of the rad.
