    Economically priced programmer...

Hello everyone. Not sure if this is the correct location and I'm sure Mark will move it if necessary but I wanted to let the public know bout the eprom programmer I bought. I think it is based on the Willem programmer, it is the Minipro TL866CS. It runs about $50 on ebay and works great. The only caveat is when programming a 27SF512 using offsets it took me too long to figure out where to insert the correct address. After that it was bang zoom to the moon easy. lol

Just thought I'd put that out there in case anyone is looking for a lower priced programmer. Not trying to step on Moates toes as I have bought what I need to from them but like most people these days funds are tight and so am I. Hope this is helpful guys and gals. Happy tuning.

teardown/review(though i would be lying if i said the accent doesn't make my ears bleed).

seems okay, once you update firmware and software.

I works great for me. Like I said, after I figured out the offset addressing issue it's smooth as butter, never had to update the firmware or software. Either way just info for the masses. Still trying to get time to log data. My stock chip(asdu) & engine are running rich for some reason(BLM's consistent 108) so I need to tear into the injector pod/regulator and also suspect my 23 year old O2 sensor. Have to wait a few days for warmer weather for that though.
