The 12200411 PCM will not run a 58x engine. You will need an E38 or E67 ECM.

To use an 0411 PCM you would need a Lingenfelter converter box ...

True. I didn't think of that.

Why wouldnt he simply use the proper 24x crank and 1x cam signals.
Kinda like seeing a cool prosthetic leg, then cutting off your good leg, just so you can wear it. Kinda silly.

Either use the more modern ECM or swap to the proper reluctors for 0411 use. You only need to buy a new camshaft sprocket and then swap out the 58x relcutor for a 24x, less money than that Lingenfelter box.

If he is using a Gen I Vortec truck engine - like the one you did - absolutely.

But this thread sounds like a Gev IV engine using a Gen III controller - in which case the Lingenfelter box is far more expedient and economical. One of the photos is of a Gen IV engine.

If he is using a Gen IV engine, it would need to be completely dismantled, the 58x CKP reluctor pulled off, and a 24x CKP reluctor pressed on.

Some clarification from the OP would help out with suggestions.

I was just thinking the engine was out of the truck. No need to disassemble, just pull the crank. Of course assuming its sitting in a stand.

I agree we need some clarification.

    I`m building a mopar :)

so i have 60-2 trigger (58x) i think i can tune the tunerpro for this setup... that was my mistake i think...

    the 411pcm will work if:
    -i buy Lingenfelter converter box
-or 24x reluctor and 1x cam signals

    my choise is the second

    and another question

is it right angels for custom made 4 tooth camshaft reluctor wheel?

Does Tunerpro have definitions for 0411?

So you have a 5.3 truck harness and 0411 PCM.

But the engine you are building uses the 4x cam and 58x crankshaft signals.

And you want to tune the 0411 using TunerPro.

Does Tunerpro have the support this gentleman needs?

Up until 2004 all LS engines had 24x crankshaft reluctor wheels.
The cam reluctor was machined into the camshaft and the 1x signal was read by a cam sensor in the valley at the back of the engine.
The camgear used therefore had no timing lumps and was "type D" below and was held on by 3 bolts.

    2005 spec LS2, used in 05 Corvette: 05&06 GTO: 05&06 TBSS
    24 x crankshaft reluctor wheels.
No cam reluctor machined into camshaft.
Cam sensor moved to front timing cover.
Camgear used was "type C" 1 x signal below and held on by 3 bolts.
[Same timing signals as LS1,LS6 etc so these can use LS1 computer]

2006+ spec LS engines [LS2,LS3,LS7,L76,L92,L98(Au), etc]
    58 x crankshaft reluctor wheels.
No cam reluctor machined into camshaft.
Cam sensor moved to front timing cover.
Camgear used was "type A" 4 x signal below and held on by 1 large centre bolt.

If an aftermarket LS1 style 3 bolt camshaft needs to be run in a 2006+ spec LS engine then "type B" 4x signal camgear is used to mate with a 3 bolt camshaft.

There are no camgears made with 1x timing lump and 1x centre bolt.

    Cam sprockets

    24x and 58x reluctor rings

You need to get a 24x reluctor wheeel and 1x reluctor wheel. As stated this does require engine disassembly to get the crankshaft out of the engine so that you can remove the old 58x reluctor and get a 24x reluctor pressed on. If the engine is in the car already, this is not the recommended method as the engine has to be removed.

If you cant tune the 0411 with Tunerpro, and/or the engine is in the car, it might be better to use a new ECM.

    Whats ITBS?

Any GM MAP with a 0-5v reference range should work.
