    Help with my VE, please...

I have a 95 k1500 350 tbi. I have been messing with the VE Tables for waaaayyy to long. For some reason it seems that I have gone backwards.
I have attached by BIN, XDF, latest log file. Would someone mind taking a look at it and help me out. From what I have been reading it seems that I am running out of fuel. I have clean injectors from witch hunter running 15psi, made adjustments for flow in table as well. I have turned off EGR & PE. I also noticed that the closed loop is enabled when min. temp is -4.1C or something like that. I don't think that is right. I would greatly appreciate some input on this.

    Thanks,

    Rick

I have to hit the sack. I can't get my Excel file to save. I'll try again tomorrow.

EDIT EagleMark: Deleted corrupt XDF file so no one uses it.

I went to take a quick look and did a compare with a stock BJYM. Need someone good with dissasembly to explain why I came up with 3 Item not defined? It should be Idle fuel or off idle fuel yet says not defined in my XDF, so is something wrong?

    Hex location 4A7E 4A7F 4A80

Should be defined by looking at $0D hac .src

EDIT: Something is really wrong, both your fuel tables are just wrong?

DOuble EDIT: Something may be wrong with my $0D XDF, using your XDF it does not have any Item not defined and only the Idle VE table is just wrong? I'm confused?

Someone has changed your XDF Off Idle VE table columns to 17 and there should only be 11!

Thanks Mark. Do you know of a good XDF that I can use instead of the one I have? Your help is very much appreciated!

You should start with a fresh bin as well.

I'm going to delete that XDF from your post. Don't want it floating around.

Thanks again Mark, you're the MAN! It will be nice to finally be using the correct files now. That will hopefully reduce my headache time.
Yes, get rid of that XDF, the world is a better place with that file gone.

Where did it come from? It should get deleted from anywhere available...

You know tuning with the correct table is going to be way easier and way more productive...

I don't recall where I got it off hand. It's been kicking my butt for some time now.

Confused the heck out of me at first? And I do like a challenge. I have the same file I gave you link to but have done a lot of modifications to simplify and data tracing etc... so I thought it was mine... but I've never messed with that part, so I downloaded yours and dam the VE table looked good! To bad it was in the wrong spot in hex! It was also changing a MAT Blend parameter because of the wrong location and I forget what else. So chuck that bin too and start fresh!

Your truck is going to run much better and tune much easier with the VE table in it's proper location!

Ok, I'm back and ready to give this another shot.
Mark can you set me up with a known good Bin, XDF & ADS to use for my truck? It's OD, BJYM (I believe).
Also Where do I need to go in order to turn off the following?

    1. EGR
    2. PE.
    3. Air pump.
    4. DFCO
    5. Hiway Lean Cruise if applicable.

    Thank you in advance!

So I found the XDF & Bin in your link and have those. I just need to know how to properly disable the above items to start tuning. If anyone knows for sure I would appreciate the help. I have heard several ways but I'm not sure. I was hoping someone on here could tell me for sure.

    Thanks,

O.k. After some more snooping, I found what I need to know from another of your threads.

    1. EGR There's a ton of ways to disable EGR in $0D but the easiest is to raise temp so engine never get's hot enough to let it o "EGR Enable Startup Temperature **Turned Off Data Log**"
    2. PE. Same for PE. "Minimum Temperature for PE **Adjust**"
    3. Air pump. Same for Air pump. "Minimum Temperature for AIR"
    4. DFCO Same for DFCO. "Minimum Temperature for DFCO **Turned Off Data Log**"
    5. Hiway Lean Cruise if applicable. Not applicable.

    Thank you in advance!

Thank you Lord Mark! I wasn't positive if just one field changed would take care of the EGR or if I needed to change more than one to get it turned off.

Thank You, Thank You, Thank You!
