First Fuel Injection/Affordable FI Initail Timing

• Trying to get some basic things dialled in. I have reset my initial timing, unhooked blue wire at distributor , set timing to 0 degrees. Shut off , reconnected wire.
• Is this a good place to start/
• Fuel Pressure, complete Aeromotive system. Set fp at 45 psi, on regulator, engine off, pump running.
• Vacuum hooked up and running, 38-40 psi
• I am I in the ballpark?

Sounds good if it's a SB, BB timing is usually set higher. Timing wire is normally tan?

Spoke to AFI today, 6 BTC is the start point for the tune...could go as high as 8-10 BTDC. See if this helps.
