Almost ready for first data log

To get better data logs there are a few more things to do that helps for accurate data and filling more cells.

    Turn off:
    1. EGR
    2. PE.
    3. Air pump.
    4. DFCO
    5. Hiway Lean Cruise if applicable.

Have vehicle warmed up and driven a little, then start data log. Try and have a route planned where you can drive a steady throttle state, like getting on the freeway at 10% throttle till top speed or whatever is safe. Next on ramp 20%, then 30%, 40%, 50% etc... your coming off freeway and getting back on helps for other data or do some around town driving.

Do not look at history table while driving!!!

But do try and fill in as many cells as possible. You will not get them all, it's impossible. Save your data log.
In Scalars I set EGR Enable Startup Temp to maximum amount.

Would PE and DFCO be same to disable?

I've never tested the new EGR CTS enable temp. We found a real backwards issue there and lot's of people worked hard to correct it. But I have not found time to test thoroughly.

So use the EGR disable patch. It changes three things and is known to disable EGR.

For the others yes, raise temp. In Parameter Tree choose Categories and look for the Patches and Data Logging folder. Read and apply.

Couldn't find the EGR patch you speak of, however the EGR solenoid and vacuum to the valve itself aren't even connected on my truck so I shouldn't have any bad data from recirculated exhaust.

Even with the PE and DFCO set to maximum temperature in their respective tables I was getting a flash of DFCO on the Data Dash board as soon as I went from part throttle to closed throttle. Also according to my wideband it looked like PE was active too.

    Where did I go wrong?
