That's where it would be no matter in OL and the code set was probably O2 sensor Lean which would make it go OL.

Disconnected data cable and had rapid CEL flash, reconnected data cable and got a 12 and 51 code.51 was prom error.Changed out chip and same thing, checked both chips on flash and burn and they both checked out good does this sound like a bad ecm. (7747)ecm and 512 chip.

No cat , timing is on, looks like a bad ecm.Any way to install a 512 chip in a 7747 without the 30.00 $ moates adaptor?

Well I took the moates adaptor that has the controle to run different bins on a single 512 chip out of old ecm and installed it in a new ecm and I am getting same problem.Chip passes verification on programmer .Does this sound like possibly bad adaptor?

More than likely the wrong offsets, a corrupted .bin or a bad prom.

Im not stacking bins and yes I Ihave been erasing codes.I made up a new adaptor from a zif connecter and shorted out the 5 pins(hopefully the correct 5)tried it again and still rapid flash CEL and 51 code. Can a chip be bad even when it checks out good with the programmer(verify chip with buffer)I only have the two chips, is moates best place to order more 512 proms. This setup has worked fine for months until the other night.
