    Memcal Knock board gel coat removal

    Has anyone out there found an easy way to remove the clear(ish) coating on the in memcal knock board?

    Not any easy why.

    To examine the on board traces to try get an understanding of how this board is working.
    Perhaps also to run some benchtests with a scope and signal generator.

    Acetone works on other clear coating on boards?

    Just to complete the loop. Acetone did not work. It looks like it is silicone based as
    Silicone-B-Gone did soften the coating and then it washed off with soap and water.
