Hopefully by next week I'll be able to make my BT ALDL adapter and then get this app.

Yeah, I posted a few pages back that I did last time you asked. :P It's an S2, you mentioned how it was better than what you were testing with...
I need to finish up this embedded systems project by tomorrow morning, and then I can work on my own projects. :D One of the first will be to build a BT ALDL cable. ;)

Cool! Yeah, I remember now :P
You also make me remember that I should update my other thread about that 2" gauge, I got quite a huge update :)

You should have a few error reports from Friday night, I suspect I may have the wrong files and and contacted Gary to rectify that since he's tested on the same PCM I have (94 firebird LT1).

Russ, I will need the ADX file your using to understand whats going on. But if you know someone that has the app working with the same ECU you have, it's probably indeed much simpler to just ask them for the right file :) I will be able to understand why the app is having issue parsing your file but cannot test with your exact ECU after.
Jeff, sounds cool, ty!

I sent Russ the files I was using on the 94LT1. Just to make sure they still worked ok, I updated the app and ran them again first. Perfect!!!

Thanks Gary, that's always the best case scenario when someone can supply a known working ADX file :)

Hey I still have a lingering issue.. if I connect the ALDLdroid (USB) it works, when the tablet goes to sleep and I come back to it lateer, I cannot get it to connect, I get Checksum errors, I think if I reboot it it will work. any ideas?

Jeff, I never seen that happen myself. So when the device goes to sleep and you wake it up, the connection to ECU is disconnected ? When you try to reconnect, it sort of work but with check sum errors ? Weird one, I will have to think about it... Almost sounds like the connect macro should be executed at some point but it isn't and the chatter is creating check sum errors ?

YEah it is odd.. if I force stop the app and try again it does the same thing, I have to wonder if it is something with my cable and the way it is set-up.. I will try a few things and keep you posted

I had (maybe still have) a similar issue with Tuner Pro, but only if the battery dies or the laptop goes to sleep while "connected"to the ALDL. That includes if the ignition is shut off, but I have not manually disconnected Tuner Pro.
