Anyone know if the shipping bluetooth from Timm is V2 or V1?

I might just bury my cable into the car as I will have a tablet in place of my radio so it will have everything always in the car.. radio/ALDL/etc

Got my home made ALDLgauge mounted in dash of my '74 XJ-6 and have it talking via bluetooth to ALDLdroid.

The XJ-6 has a handy little shelf that is perfect for my Android tablet.

Got my gauges reconfigured to use the "below the pivot" settings for the numerical readouts too, works great!

Jeff, it might be better to ask Timm actually. I got both a v1 and v2 that works awesome. I'm not sure if V2 distribution has started but I would guess so. I would say either V1 or V2 should be fine but according to the debug logs I've been getting from some people, there might be some firmware issues that need to be figured out still. Email Timm and I'm sure he will be able to hook you up :)

if I set-up a display on my Nexus 7 and wanted to set-up the SAME on another device, do I need to manually do it or is there a file I can copy from one device to the other?

Copy the "main.json" file in the "dashboard" folder from one device to another. I've honestly never tried it but it *should* work :)

I assume in the future you'll be providing some sort of tuning capability with this? As it sits now I don't need the Real time tuning capability of the Autoprom, but to datalog, make minor adjustments, then upload them to the APU would be nice. My laptop is 3+ years old now and while the software/internals work as well as they did new, the hardware is consumer grade crap and is about worn out. I'd like to build a serious desktop but if I still need a laptop then I'm going to start looking into ultrabooks pretty soon.

I have a serious itch to build a 8.1L Vortec based stroker, so I would end up having one tuning suite (EFILive) for everything of mine anyways, but I'm sure with all the TBI guys I know I would still get use out of it.
