Ok, will do later tonight. Can you keep me up to date and let me know what we are changing and why as we go along with each bin? I wanna learn along the ride here to lol.

Now your thinking!
Learn to use TunerPro Compare and the Difference Tool! Then you can see exactly what is changing while you know why the change is being made!

EagleMark, I know how to use the compare bin part but how do I use the difference tool?
this bin is just a simple change to the cold start/idle/warmup broblem yep, nothing more so no need for any drive. i just didnt want to change too many things all at the same time.. so next plan of attack depending on how this makes the cold start and warmup look will be starting to change some fuel tables and probably timing tables as well. oh and we might even get around to raising idle.
i know i could have changed some of the drivability issues as well as the cold start on the same bin and kept would have known which effected what but i just wanted to keep things simple.
and Mark your supposed to be fallowing along, how else will you teach and advise me
also do you guys really think i should change the desired AFR from 14.7? if so i could do that in next bin and straiten int/blm out for that before getting into the next parts. rather then do it and try to fix everything again l8r... i guess the real question would be on Zed and whether the fuel around there is 10%ethanol

That's perfect. Sounds like a smart plan to me. Why change a lot all at once. Thanks. I'll get the log on here later tonight.

a lot of the refineries around here(at least) tend to blend only the minimum amount they can to not get slammed from the EPA(ethanol got really expensive this year). so our fuel is anywhere from E0 to E10 depending on the season and how much fuel has been sold compared to how much they're expecting to sell.
I only use 94 octane fuel and it used to be ethanol free but now may contain anywhere from 0-10% just like stated above.
All the pumps around here say may contain up to 10% ethanol. When I test it, it is 10% ethanol.
The NB O2 sensor and ECM can handle any E content so it's not a killer of tune. But when starting a tune and calculations it helps to be acurate. But if you know exactly you can eliminate fuel trims. If set to 14.7 and fuel is 14.1, then fuel trims go up.
So I always set for worst case scenario of 14.13. Keep fuel trims low = BLM under 128. If you take a stock vehicle in good condition and do a data log, it will show most BLM above 128, like 135-138. Changing Stoich/Desired to 14.13 as only change in tune and BLM change across board to 128 or below.

true most areas have at least 10%, i'm down to only 2 stations here in town that still have no ethanol premium pumps(both way out of my way too) but ya ok ok i will change it next bin after he tests this one for the cold start behaviour, but then will want a log to check blm and make sure its on track. i kinda like 14.2 though , must be my ocd but i like more even numbers lol
better yet and faster i will post it now so Zed can log it right after the one ment to fix the cold start behaviour..
and we can maybe get 2 bins and logs outta the way fast.....

So you want me to do the cold start log with the other bin and then once that's done put this bin in right after. Even warm is ok?
