    correct injector offsets and specs

anyone happen to know the correct voltage offsets etc for these injectors?

i belive them to be originals from a 85 tpi corvette which should make them 24# injectors. there marked as 80150945 and F1SE-E5 i also belive they are probably the bosch type, i do know that they are pintle type injectors...

now i know that i could just pull up a factory bin for the certain vehicle and look at the voltage offsets but there is the problem, no matter how much i look at the bin the 870 ecm and matching bin does not appear to have that or injector size listed in the bin anywhere i can find(if needed or would help i could list the bin and mask)..

anyhow i know if i looked up another year (after 85 using the 165 ecm)with 24# injectors it would tell me the info i need but the problem there is that 85 was the only year using the 24#, in 86 they went with 22# and far as i know stayed with 22#. also gm used a few diff types of injectors as well after the 85 such as lucas, disc type and a couple others, not all were the pintle type.

    any ideas?

ohh nice find but i think HLH is for the late 85 vette which i belive had already changed to the 22# injectors.. someone please correct me if i'm wrong. i would be more specific and give the bin id but it no longer had the original but rather a hypertech chip in it before conversion away from the 870 ecm. from my research it could be an HLP that was original but ya idk.

thanks though i will add this info to my future notes

this is the offsets used by the hypertech chip in the 85 vette 870 ecm, but no idea how to know the inj size it was using in the bin as they dont seem to list inj size but as you can see its night and day diff from the one you posted.. need to find one that is no doubt from a 85 with the 24# injectors or one that matches the injector part number i guess.

    pulled up the 8595 TSB.

part number 16052290 is listed to fix a sag with a cold engine and throttle application. that is the HLH PROM.

it also states all corvettes produced after march 8th of 1985 already have this PROM installed. so if there were an injector change, it doesn't appear to have happened mid-year 1985.

did some more digging, in the 86266 TSB, both 1985 and 1986 replacement injectors have a part number of 10077514, but the 1985 models are also required to increase fuel pressure by using part number 17110874 in place of the original regulator and 17110860 for a "cold start valve".

so, there does appear to be a flowrate change between 85 and 86, but not a mid-year change.

hmm interesting info.. i did know that the 86 and later vettes had a set higher fuel pressure the the 85 and it was indeed for that very reason of having the 24# injectors in the 85(lower factory fp setting) vs the 86's with there 22# injectors(higher factory fp setting).
so you do belive that the HLH would be the correct offsets then? wonder why my searches found the that the offset numbers used by the hypertech chip to be correct.. the bins i looked at so far were all listed on the davis tpi site as
    early 85 vette
    later 85 vette
stock 85 vette (HLP 2297)personally read by owner of davis site
even one listed as updated 85 vette HLH3200 bin
all have same volt offsets as the hypertech(personally read by me) i listed instead of the ones listed by Jim, hmm odd guess i need to look more places.

thanks for the great info, keep it coming
