That last log had almost no idle on the end in CL, looks like it stalled and was restarted... then finally went CL and you turned it off. So get a good idle data log and I'll see what I can do.

Starts hard as in? You want to call me?

What's going on to take a minute to start? Cranking for a minute? Something is wrong? Should be about 5 cranks of motor without touching gas pedal.

Idle log has to be at end of a drive.

Could try and data log a cold start? That's a hard one to see what is happening but we could try. Tell me more. Is it flooding? Do you push on gas? To much timing like it's cranking hard?

    I can't tune that out!

Didin't we once see a low voltage when engine off? You may also have a weak battery which would cause the altenator to overwork. Have the batt load tested after a full charge.

was a bad starter. but ive been thinking about taking the tbi off and going with some kind of MPFI. are there any system that are better? i know tune port is fairly cheap and easy to swap but i dont know much about it and im told its a waste of time? looking to make more power and get better fuel economy

losing pressure when demand increases is either a pump that can't supply enough volume at the target pressure or a restriction somewhere along the way.

Yea, pull that sucker out and put a TPI F-car pump or 1992 CPI 4.3 pump in its place. I had a 1987 GMC Jimmy TBI 2.8 that kept falling on its face and found the fuel pump was only putting out 9 psi and the return line was dry.

I'm not sure why you would do that?

But if you data log doing that I may be able to see why?
