I want to take the whole drive line out of my 1994 k1500 4x4 and put in in my 1977 jeep cherokee chief. Any help with the wiring after the fire wall would be great.
Thanks
If you're careful on the *removal side* of this project (unplug - not cut, etc), it should be very straight forward. Your ECM doesn't really care if gauges are plugged in, but make sure engine & trans wiring is all in tact. Being a slow learner, it took me several projects before I removed the side cutters from my tool lexicon for engine swaps.
It's nice when you get the bulkhead grommets and all, so the end project is clean and weather proof as any factory set up.
Oh, and welcome! - Mike V
