88 fiero not connecting to TPRT.

I got Roberts cable in and tested on my 91 caprice with no issues.
However TP will not connect to my 88 fiero.
Fiero is running the stock 7170 and AKYM,only change is deleted EGR.
My Tech 1 connects immediately with no issues, but TP just keeps saying (connecting...).
TP finds the cable just fine,so wondering what the issue is.

    I'm using $24.ads imported/converted to .adx .
I'm sure i'm doing something wrong, just not sure what.
    Any suggestions?
I have tried with the switch in both positions and nothing, assuming it shouldn't take more than 5m to connect.

I saw that while searching, but it is for the 2.5 4cyl and not the 2.8 V6 so I didn't try it.Sorry, should have mentioned motor size.
I will try it though, also need to check diagrams cause I thought I read that the fiero communicated on pin M but it is not populated on my ALDL.

Pin E or Pin M does not matter as Roberts cable will work both... Robert may know what ALDL.ds file it starts with? Possible that the file I posted has correct connect commands?

Thanks,i'm gonna try it again later tonight.Stopped by Ford shop and when I came out had a growing puddle under the car.
The splice connecting the heater hoses had broken and thermostat had bent out of shape yet again.
Fixed it real quick, but need to finish up building a water trap for dust collector, mow the yard(2acres) and some other stuff before I can get back to it.

I like to datalog late at night/early morning, nice to just drive.

the 2.8 ECMs never went to 8192 baud, they were all C3s. the later 2.5 fieros got a P4, though IIRC, it wasn't a typical P4.
