MSD boost timing master and SCI ignition

I've got an MSD/Vortech Boost Ignition control box.Same as an MSD Boost timing master controller pn 5462.
It is branded Vortech because it came with a kit.

Also an MSD SCI sport compact ignition box.

The BTM was pulled from a turbo lincoln MarkIV because the motor blew, worked just fine.
The SCI was pulled from a kids Honda before it got repo'd,worked fine.
Both have been crated in the shop since waiting for a project to put them on (2-3yrs).

Looking for $100shipped for the BTM (selling for $130-$170 on ebay) and $75 shipped for the SCI.
    Going on Ebay tonight probably.
Raising money to finish .... anything.
I'll post up a better pic of the SCI if anyone is interested, was all I had currently.
(Trade for fiero stuff or 3800 stuff also.)

Isn't the SCI box basically a 6A "repackaged" and marketed to the import guys ? I did a quick search and couldn't find the specs I was looking for, but if my memory serves me correct that was the consensus. I guess the main question is will the SCI work on 6 or 8 cylinder engines or just 4 bangers ? If it works on 6 or 8 cylinder engines I may be interested.

I seem to remember being told the exact same thing on the MSD forum when I got ahold of it a couple years ago.
Same as a 6A and I think they even said to use same wiring diagram.
I can't verify it though, but I did the same searching.

    Confirmed?

Basically the SCI PN 6300 is the same as a 6A PN 6200

The SCI-L PN 6320 and the 6-AL PN 6420 are the same also.

The ignition in the housing is the same ignition. The housing colors are different and that is the only difference.

What year, make, model, engine size on the vehicle?

I thought that was the case. I'm going out of town this weekend so I'll sit down tomorrow and figure out my finances and see if it's doable. I'll get back to you either way and let you know. In the meanwhile, if you find another buyer don't hold on to it for me because I may not be able to get it.
    Thanks,

    Phil

I'm tempted on the BTM, just for something to play with and experiment with. Need to decide if I can spare the cash. :/

That's why I kinda kept it around, got a few projects I could eventually play with it on.
But since it's not a necessity need to sell so I can finish one.
Gonna hold onto these for a few more days anyway.

Well, it definitely won't be this week for me. I was prepping the old lady's car for our trip and ended up spending way more than anticipated so it killed my budget for the week. Maybe next week hopefully.
