    another newbie

    Hi everyone,

I was directed here by someone on the ZR-1 Registry.

I have used Tuner Pro in the past and when Mark M had started on ScannerPro (which eventually merged into TunerPro) I was testing it out on my then 89 corvette with 91 electronics ($8D). back then 2006-2007 I thought I had it pretty much worked out but then sold the car for a 1990 ZR-1. I had worked on getting a a ADX to work or the 1990 but it was put on the back burner as I had other things to finish first with the car and I have an Older version of EASE OBD that I used.

I finally got around to finishing the ADX this year, with a bit of help from a couple other I have a nice solid XDF for the 1990 ZR-1..

I am just not sure which subforum to post it on..

You could post it here and I'll move it to the ECM Info thread. Those threads are only accessible by Mods to keep them uncluttered. We were just looking at making a ADX work for a ZR1 and don't remember if we got it right?

    Thanks for the help!

    Thanks Jeff!

I re-titled it to our way of keeping track but of cousre left you as author, also gave credit for the file in the info thread.

    Also found a $8EA XDF? We had a $8E. What's the difference?

Files will always be availabel here:

the difference between the $8E and $8EA is mainly in the Bin file itself, at some point in the file, the information is shifted from on address to another address and continued through the rest of the BIN. I forget the exact address location.

The $8E was early in the cars for 90 and then $8EA was an update.. an $8EA. either will work in any 1990.. infact all 6 years of the LT5 had $xx and $xxA

    90 is $8E/$8EA
    91 is $AF/$AFA
    92 is $D0/$D0A
    93,94,95 is $F0/$F0A

this should work in all but there are a few minor flags etc that need to be changed

AS for a $8EA XDF, I have a couple, but need to ask permission to post it as it has some added parameters.. That one I did not do

    Great info! Thanks again.

We always have room to host the TunerPro Community created files, there's no where else that has the most up to date and constantly worked on files. This is the reason I re titled yours for tracking. So if you get the OK for the XDF, we are always open!
