    Wanted-chip for a 92 TBI

I've got a buddy that is doing heads, cam and headers on a 92 tbi.
Need someone to burn a chip.

I have no burner or anything else, would just rather him give someone here money than a random mail-order.
I've got the cam number and looking up the specs,he is installing everything tomorrow and will text me the ECM info then.
Looking to spend around $100 (hopefully) for a starter bin and then maybe an update or two after I recieve roberts adl cable I keep forgetting to order and send datalogs.

No other mods than the cam,headers-heads have been ported with 2.02/1.60 valves and spring pockets cut and screwin studs-that's all I can tell from looking.
Truck is otherwise stock 350tbi (not counting 44" tires, gears and 1ton drivetrain)

I'm assuming he can fuel it with factory tbi but haven't done the math. Already told him next upgrade should be intake and TB.

    Anybody interested in doing it?

I'll pm you, most all info I have is above but i'm about to look up cam specs.
if I can't find then i'll need to call lunati with grind number in the morning.
Otherwise just need to know what info you need from me,and pop over to roberts thread and buy a cable :)

ECM which is probably 1227747 and the BCC of chip, cam specs, headers and where O2 sensor is. What gears does he have with them huge tires? More info more better!

I'm thinking there is a very good chance the 1992 ECM is 16146299 (which is definition file 99).

According to this it could be an 8747,7747 or 6299 and AMUR is mempak ID for VIN K for a 7747 but not listed for the others.

If it will help (and swap right in) I actually have a 7747 here that a friend gave me and I hoarded.
This is not my area of knowledge,I'm sure eagle will figure it out.

Here's what i've got to go on.

    AMUR is a 1227747

16146299 is usually in S10 and full size if it had 4.3 or 5.0L.

Almost every 92 I have messed with was the 299 running the $99 code. AWLC, AWLD, and IIRC AWHD for the 305. The TBI setup I pulled from a 92 TBI G20 was A 16146299 AWLD

What you all said X3... 4.3L and 5.0L, but when 5.7L it's 1227747. Been my experience in trucks, not sure about vans, can always be proven wrong... As he has AMUR which is 1227747...

Did the 16146299 have a removable Netres chip? the 288 does not... he had sent me another photo and Netres is removable chip.

The last 5.7L '92 full size I worked on was a '299. I did swap it to a '7747 because the def files were far more defined.

A couple pics of a 16146299 I have. I removed a few parts for other projects. I'm thinking the Netres is soldered in.

That would prove this one is 1227747 because of the removable netres. Thanks Dave!
