Background:
I am gathering parts to install TBI on my carbed 305. My engine is an '83. The TBI came off an '87 K5. My trans is a '91 4L60 modified to lock/unlock the converter automatically since it didn't have a computer. I have a 16 pulse VSS from Autometer feeding my programmable Autometer speedo.

Yes, I can buy a 2 pulse VSS from Jags that Run and add it onto my AM VSS, but do I really need to? The 16 pulse VSS will still work for a VSS signal won't it? I know the computer will not get the correct speed signal, but will that cause any issues?

What would be the drawback of the 16 pulse VSS?
