The fuel level, temp, oil pressure, and volt guages will work fine. The fuel shouldnt need anything changed. I forget right off the top of my head where the volt meter gets its power reading from, so worse comes to worse, you may have to splice a wire. The temp and oil pressure, just find a way to put the jeep sending units in the chevy engine.
Now speedo and tach are a different story. The stock jeep tach is fed from the stock jeep ecm, so I dont think theres any way around having to replace it with a aftemarket one. The speedo, you can make work with a little rigging. The stock jeep VSS is a 8 pulse hall effect sensor. The stock jeep ecm provides (iirc, 8 volts) to the vss to power it, the signal wire from the vss Y's off and goes to the jeep ecm and the speedo. So if you keep the stock jeep 231 transfer case and vss, and find a way to supply it with 8 volts, you will be able to keep your stock speedo. But, you will need a way to send a vss siginal to the GM ecm. It uses a different type of signal and number of pulses. About the only soulition I have been able to come up with for now, is to somehow piggyback two VSS's together.

I have a simillar project in the works. I have a 93 YJ 4.0, which I plan on converting the 4.0 to use a GM ecm to run it, so I can tune it for my eventuial stroker build.

if it had the JTEC PCM, forget it, unless you know your way around code. ECM ECM would be the best avenue(IMO) for engine controls.

95 will still be the SBEC2 ecm, its still OBD 1. Not sure when the JTEC pcm came out, I think late 90's. I know the YJ never had it, as 95 was the last year for the YJ.
