OBDI is not the problem, the tuner is. I have had two different GM OBDI vehicles over 340 RWHP.

To make 300 RWHP with an GM Automatic 2wd 1/2 ton driveline you need about 375 HP at the flywheel and some good weather.
I must be leaving a lot on the table still. My 357 is 9.7:1 with Vortecs and the 204/207 .447/.459 LT1 cam, long tubes and Eddy performer intake. The truck is 5000lbs, but it feels so slow. And the tune is fairly close according to my datalogs. I've been dissappointed with the power since day 1, especially given the animal the Camaro's 355 was.

In $0D you can data log desired AFR with a patch, it's in the def. Make sure your going into PE, ie 14.7 changes to 12.5 or? There's a huge delay and other blocking factors. Flow chart in $0d info thread.

Is "desired AFR" like "commanded AFR" in 7730 $A1? That would be helpful. The AFR table in $0D is a little weird, and I still haven't figured out exactly how it works. The VE table and AFR table are different, and there's an offset setting that doesn't make a lot of sense to me. I already changed the PE delay to zero, but it goes PE when I don't want it to some times, so I'm gonna change the threshold a bit. My biggest issue is AE, so I've got to get around to adding the MAT. I plan to make it a priority to get my BLMs almost perfect this summer and then dial in the MAT correction in the winter. The stock air cleaner and stove pipe didnt help as much as I'd hoped.

Just looked at the $0D thread and I'm intrigued about the BLM historygram. How do I get this to work?

The AFR table is only used in Open Loop, which $0D spends very little time, in closed loop the calculation starts at Stoich AFR setting.

If you try and tune with WB in Open Loop this table will drive you nuts unless you make it all the same.

It can be enabled in CL for a improtu Lean Cruise but I've never tried it yet.
Normally used for open loop but can be used in closed loop if L400D Bit 0 "Open Loop AFR Enabled" is enabled and temperature is greater than L48C6 "Minimum Temperature for Closed Loop" and temperature is less than L48C7 "Maximum Temperature for AFR Lookup in Closed Loop".

With the PE delay gone it can enter any time, best way to keep it out of PE for normal driving is adjust "Minimum TPS for PE " to a much higher level then stock 5.1 %... more like 70%.

Just do a data log and it will fill in, use spread sheets to do the calculations needed for new VE table.

I added an extra row to Idle VE history table so the number don't stack in last column, so don't use the 2000RPM row, it's to keep 1800 row clean. I'll post my $0D XDF and ADX that has lots of this done, I also combined many folders in XDF to make things more simple.

Thanks, Mark. I guess I don't know how to view the BLM historygram, is it a TPV5 thing? I have always used V4. My old computer crapped out so I need to load it fresh anyway, so I'll grab V5 and see if I can figure it out before asking any more stupid questions. haha
