    Questions about finding/using alternate bins

Until I get a prom reader/writer to play around, I am curious about the various amount of bins out there for the 1228062 ecm.

There seems to be quite a few, but about the best way to find all the bins that the 1228062 uses, has been a mix of bins made available by eaglemark in the thread specific to that ecm, google and ebay.

Unfortunately, I have an ACHT prom that I can't find a bin for online, and since I don't have a reader, I can't do anything with it yet. I'd like to find this bin so that I can see what the tables look like in tunerpro.

In the meantime, there seems to be many bins available for slightly different applications listed by the bccfind that I have questions about.

    1. I am currently running my auto 700r4 tcc off the original vaccum switch and it's locking up as normal. I've not yet hooked up the TCC from the ECM. I've found a bin, ASSB, which is for a manual transmission with a 3.73 rear. My truck has a 3.73 rear. Can I use that bin?

    2. Is there a resource that shows every bin the 1228062 used? (other than what is listed here?)

You can buy Cal Data from TunerCat for $20 IIRC...

Or look up the BCC Find thread, I think 1project2many implemented a reverse search with certain parameters.

If you have an Auto trans use an Auto trans bin. There is a lot of differences between Auto and Manual bin files!

Where is the reverse search? All I see is the "enter bcc code" box.
