    $D5 16156647 Hi from SoCal

    Hi All.
I am working on a 4.3 700R4 swap for a Willys Wagon. I am looking for a .BIN file for ECM 16156647, BALH4796.
I hope someone can help me out.

    Thanks
    Ron

The Gearhead BCC finder agrees with the donor year, model and ECM#. BALH 4796 is on the Memcal.
I would have to find a way to copy the info from the memcal.
    Thanks

Well that's what the files are for in link above to use with TUnerPro. Here's the Tutorial:

Then Moates has all the hardware
    http://www.moates.net/

Then read chip, change chip and burn new chip.

If I cant find the BIN and Mask for my setup is there one that is close to start with? Maybe a non-California Astro or S10? I did not find it in a cross reference. I would like to tune it a bit, drip the egr, change the A/C idle speed.

Is a G1 and chip a good idea for this setup? I would rather not distroy the MemCal.

    Thanks again.

Yes the G1 is the way to go, also need a HDR1 to stick in Memcal to read the chip.

Still need a reader, burner like the Burn2

And a cable to data log:

The file TunerPro XDF and ADX Look up 1-24-2012 has this info for my ECM.
    16156647 27C256 $D5 92 S10 Truck, Astrovan 4.3L, L35 CPI $D5.xdf A178.ads ? A178.ds ?

    Is the $D5 available?

    Thanks again

Hmmm? That PCM is also listed as $94... you will know for sure when you read the chip and can look at hex to find out for sure.

Here's a $D5.xdf What ads or adx did it need?

I have no idea what ones. I was just looking at the spreadsheet, I would guess the 2.5 BCC would be different.
How do I check the hex for the $d5 or $95?

    Thanks

Your right! In hex it's usually the 8th spot D5. Here's a AURS which is a 4.3L Auto D5 Federal bin.
