Roy here, from Portland, OR. I have been datalogging my '89 350 Suburban for several months and just spent some money with Moates, getting ready to do some mpg testing with lean cruise enabled (thanks Eaglemark!) on the 1227747 (currently 12.2 highway) and then some additional tuning to optimize the engine and keep it that way, as I mod it. I'm looking forward to exploring more of the forums - so much knowledge here, that I'm going to be busy for a while!

Thanks for the welcomes! I've been reading my a@# off and it looks like I need to adjust my plan, and do all of my fuel and spark tuning *before* I enable lean cruise. I should get my gear next week, so hopefully I can open a thread sometime that weekend documenting my progress.
EagleMark - have you done any mods on your Suburban, other than tuning?
