Interesting. But how does it work? I see no discription of how it works, FAQ, how you get data from your vehicle, etc...

You load a file from data logger, TunerPro is on there... also .csv which TunerPro will save as.

    Looks cool, I downloaded it...

i've actually used it a couple of times...

what you'll want to do is export a tunerpro log as a CSV, making certain that you have TPS%, RPM and MPH at a minimum. read AFR, MAP(boost) and IATs are also nice to plot/use for SAE correction. couldn't tell you how accurate it is...

what you do then is chop out the parts of the log that aren't immediately before a WOT blast(preferably in 2nd/3rd gear) and everything after it.

Hmm might have to download and try this. maybe compare it to the logs I pulled while on the dyno and see how close it is.

not impressed. virtual dyno says my little v6 puts out almost 900 hp. log was taken while the truck was on a dyno jet reading 158hp in second gear.

i had stuff like that happen too... i had to tweak quite a bit to get it to generate more reliable values.

Got to be in the way the data is put in? Can't be that far off, I've read others guys say it's real close...

Did you account for the multiplication of 2nd gear when you input the data?

Also why would you do a dyno pull using 2nd gear?

another potential issue.... this software is intended to be used on the road, not on a dyno.... since the dyno presents a different load, it can cause wonky values.

I don't see why tall tires would negate someone from being on a dyno.

Dynos around here will not do big tires like off road trucks. To much speed on dyno... ?
