1988 Buick Gran National ECM and 1000cc injectors?

Trying to help Moates answer this email and I can't but sure someone here can?

Hello my name is manny I'm interested in purchasing a product from your site my
question to you is the following.? I have an 1988 buick grand national its
modified pretty heavily but ive reached the limit of the "chips" that a few
sources have been able to do. But for the setup now they say the stock ecu and
chip combo will not be Able to handle it that I will have to go with a fast
standalone ecu.. do you know if this is true or could I use your product with
the tuner pro software. Supposedly the ecu will not be able to handle 1000cc
injectors which is what i need now that im at the limit since im at 600cc .
Thanks for your time in advance. Manny

umm.... last year for the grand national was 87, but that's not really important.

i don't see why a standalone would be able to control the injectors any better than the stock unit... unless he's considering running low-impedance(assuming the stockers aren't already).

Why not use 7749 and $59?? Stock injectors are high imp. 7749 would need driver change and new sense resistors same as syty guys use.

i find it absolutely hilarious that this happens somewhat often in the turbo buick world.... taking two of their "advantages" (SFI and MAF) and trading them off for "older" tech.

He really wants to keep stock ECM, but whey can't he run 1000cc injectors?
