I finally got around making the adjustable TBI pressure regulator. The original regulator was just over 9 PSI. The adjustable is now set at 11 PSI fuel pressure.
I also checked for updates on TurnerPro RT and download the latest 5.00.8202.00 and installed it. What a mistake! It wiped out my default bin, adx and xdf.

What I have found and loaded is $42-1227747-V5.1.xdf and $42-1227747-V4.1.adx.
Are these the latest and/or the best to use at this time?

I want to get back to tuning.

I did do a record data session with $42-2011.xdf loaded while dragging a 3 fertilizer spreader cart around tonight. Can I still use this data in Dave's spreadsheet and get good results or should I start over?

The latest realesed versions are always here:

Dave's spreadsheet will work with all versions. Having a load on while data logging is a good thing, no reason to start over.

I have been tuning as before. Almost everything seems to be on the low side after making the spreadsheet adjustments. I did notice that my BPW is still set @ 140. From what I have been reading and running the numbers in the TBIPartsFuel InjPres Calc.xls sheet, it says that I should be @ 114.79 BPW. I think I remember it started out around 130 before we started trying to compensate for the low fuel pressure.
Should I just try going to 130 and retune or keep tuning with what I have?

BPW is a course tune. The spreadsheet is fine tune. If most all the BLM are rich, then lower the BPW. If most all the BLM's are lean, then increase the BPW. When the BLM's have some BLM's lean and some BLM's rich, then use the spreadsheet to fine tune.

    Dave,
With a data log like this (below) would you drop the BPW to 138?
    RPM/MAP 20 30 40 50 60 70 80 90 100
    400
    800 118.00 126.86

No, I would leave the BPW at the setting it is at. I would try smoothing the VE Table.

I have ran they VE spreadsheet at least 10 times. I gather data to and from work and then work the tables. every time the history looks like this:

    RPM/MAP 20 30 40 50 60 70 80 90 100
    400
    800 126.96 128.24
    1200 124.86 125.66 125.83 124.76 123.00 123.50 122.38 119.88
    1600 124.66 127.75 126.36 126.07 125.94 125.00 125.33 124.83
    2000 125.33 129.83 135.00 125.64 124.82 125.20 125.00 124.40
    2400 123.71 124.46 125.89
    2800 129.00 127.00 128.00
    3200 128.00

Is it time to stop massaging VE and move on?

When I do move on, I took out the following Scalars that were labeled "Off for BLM":
    HiWay - Min Coolant
PE - Cool Temp Thres for PE
    DFCO - Enable Temp
EGR - Max TPS to allow EGR On
    Min Temp for AIR diverter

What do I set these values back to after getting the VE set-up?

    Thanks, MarkJ

The BLM's are acceptable. I think the BLM's will "learn" from this point forward. Personally, I would combine several data logs (5 or more) into Microsoft Excel. I would then further refine the averages in the Excel spreadsheet. The VE Fixer spreadsheet is not 100% fine tune, but comes very close.

The attached spreadsheet has several data logs combined into one spreadsheet, with lots of useful information and formulas! Be sure to click on the sheet 1 tab at the bottom of the spreadsheet.

    Dave,

I like your spreadsheet. Where did you get R-Map ( R-Kpa)and R-tach?(R-RPM) I don't have them as an export item.
What I did do, is use your other spreadsheet that I used to make adjustments and took the last few out puts run on History average and added all of the adjacent cells and then divided by number of samples.
I'm kind of thinking that might have the same output if history average is really averaging all of the 1200 rpm @ 60 Kpa together for the cell output. And all of the other cells are averaged the same way.

Excellent! I work with excel a lot. I should have looked at the cells. That was a DUH monument!

The BLM values look like they are on the money. I would probably leave them as is and concentrate on other changes.
