Knock Sensor not working on 7747

My knock sensor is not functioning on my conversion I did installing a TBI into my Malibu Wagon. Even when I can audibly hear pinging I never get any knock counts. I have verified that I have the wire running to the correct terminal on the ECM, verified connectivity, and I have changed the knock sensor out for a new one. I still never get any knock counts. Suggestions?
    Thanks
    Roy

Maybe the Knock Filter / ESC Module is not working? Maybe the wiring to the ESC Module needs to be checked?

Don't apply the TPS% hack in the XDF or knock won't work!

Can also check by recording data in TP KOEO... wait, engine may have to be running... and hit block with a hammer, should see knock counts.

I do occasionaly get an anomaly with the ESC. For half a second or so the engine will suddenly ping terribly for no good reason and the check engine light will come on setting an ESC code. Then it goes back to normal but the code remains. This has been only happening on rare occassion but it does cause me to suspect there may be some sort of a fault with it. I have double checked all of the connections and wiring, I just have not gone ahead and anted up the money for one. Could these two be related?

Sure does sound like the forced knock test ESC Done patch will get rid of it, but not until you find whats wrong with the Knock Sensor system.

Sounds like you have a mis combination of ESC and knock sensor if wiring all checks out right?

Fixed this. Turned out to be a wiring issue after all
