    1998 Vortec Dissasembly

Found a 98 Vortec dissasembly done by Dimented24x7 2009. Looks very simalar to OBDI LT1 PCM, which could be simalar to others and make it easier to find stuff.

Yes it's his, I added credit in first post.

It's supposed to be similar, also similar to 96 and 97 Vortec. Don't you have a V6 similar to LT1? Just wondering how much stuff would be easier to find if we had some knowns? It's all new to me...,

probably similar to 96-97 LT1, if i had to guess... know off-hand if they used the 68332 or 6811 processor in them? the 98 vortec is a 68332 based unit.

the 93-95 3100/3.4(RWD) PCM is essentially a SLIGHTLY less capable version of the 94-95 LT1 unit.

I think he said that there was some of the CPI ECM stuff in there as well. I find it amazing that all this code makes our engines run. And then the guys like John @ TC and Lyndon Wester reverse engineer the code and make their tuning products so that we can dabble.
Just imagine the code for the new E92 in the C7 Vette? You can get one of those ECM's for $51,995.
