So, Eight years later, are the plugs and sockets available as components to build an adapter cable, or do those pieces still have to be pirated from used ECMs and harnesses?
All parts are available, except maybe the header that is usually salvaged / cannibalized from a 1227747 or equivalent ECM. Delphi Connector Systems is now APTIV http://ecat.aptiv.com/
Typically, re-purposing used parts (salvaged / cannibalized) is the "Budget" option.
