    Time to learn

Finally got Tunerpro RT working and data logging. Now to see what needs to be done to get the best out of this K5.

1987 K5 350tbi bored .030 stock rebuild, cfm-tech upgrades (new throttle body, injector spacer, AFPR, salad bowl), headers w/3 wire heated O2, 700R4.

Looks like it's running rich. Here is a short drive. If it downloaded correctly, what should I look for first?

After more learning and advice, I'm going to tune my own chip but I want to make sure I have all underhood adjustments made.....or at least make sure all sensors are working correctly and fuel pressure is set before diving right in and making this harder than it really is. I was getting a code 32, 43, and 45 after about a 15 min. drive. But since I adjusted the IAC and set the TPS voltage to .51 vlts I haven't had those codes return.

    Thanks

Clear the codes by dissconecting power to ECM. Then see if they return.

The Error 45 02 rich was probably from the idle are which is rich. That is the only thing I see as an issue is rich around idle. Everything else looks good, could of course use some fine tuning of VE, all stock bins need some more spark.

I'm getting the chip programmer and G2 adapter from moates. And after more research, I'll give the tuning a try. I know there's lots of info to dig up and learn so it might take some time. But I can get the soldering done for the ECM and adapter.

Can you program a chip for my k5 with the data you have? I'd like to see if I can improve the gas milage. I'm only getting about 7 mph and I think the "running rich" is hurting the mph?

Let me know what you think.

I can. But your never gonna get what my 2wd Suburban does with that beast of yours! Mostly do to lift and tires, you've got good gearing for the tires. But you could probably add 40 to 50% depending on how big your foot is!

Idle rich is pegging at 108 BLM, that as low as it can go, most other is being corrected. What else is done to motor? It's got good vaccum/MAP at idle. Need to check fuel pressure (I don't see an issue) and check for vacuum leaks (possible issue).
