    16184737 interchangeable with 16196401?

Anyone know if these two ECMs are interchangeable? The '401 is used on the 94-95 Buick/Pontiac/Olds 3.4L, while the '737 is used on the 94-95 Camaro 3.4L. I need to know if I can use the same definition ($2E) on the '737.

Update: Answered my own question...but I'll answer it here in case someone else wants to know. The '737 is an EEPROM unit. madtuner.com has developed a V6 flash program for the L32/L82 vehicles, along with a tunercat definition. Both together are $125, the link is http://www.madtuner.com/index.php?pa...mart&Itemid=26.

yeah, you answered a lot of what i was going to. the 94-95 3100 A-body ECM is actually a non-underhood version of the 94-95 3.4DOHC ECM, like the 7727/7730. high-frequency MAF.

the speed-density 3.4(RWD) and 3100 PCM is a flash unit. i was actually pretty involved with getting it hacked. madtuner wrote the flashing program, i disassembled and hacked through the binaries(it's a dual P6 unit, 32KB per processor).

^ that will work for 2E.

for the P66 V6, this is my definition, should work for both FWD and RWD, i just don't have it organized as such since some stuff is 4L60E specific.
